Roblin notes next issue on August 7. Local items include visits from Dauphin and Winnipeg figures, Chautauqua parade highlights, school awards and transfers, Roblin sports results in baseball and football, and community observations from Jack Fish Lake to Gleneden and Deepdale.
In Inspector Belton's division this year out of 200 pupils who tried for admission to high school only 23 passed. This is a great improvement on last year's record. There were seven who took honors this year. Four belonged to the Biehl Consolidated School which passed all six candidates. Gleneden Ruthenlen School north to Roblin also passed all six who

Rev. Robert Harvey announces baptismal services on the last Sunday each month. Next Sunday Roblin Union Charge regular services are canceled at Tummel and Cromarty. All schools meet outside the Union Church at 1 80 p.m. and march to the Chautauqua tent for a 2 p.m. service led by Rev. Harvey. Masonic service follows at 7 p.m. with band participation. UFM and CFM gatherings feature a keynote by D G McKenzie on cooperation and wheat marketing, plus resignation of a district secretary and upcoming meetings at Mrs Sloan’s and Aug 18. Road conditions hinder a planned Roblin address by Mr Kensie.
Shell River Agricultural Society outlines prize details for Class 1 Clydesdale entries with a two dollar entry fee. The notice lists registration essentials, entry scope, and fee amount in a concise catalog style for exhibitors and spectators.
Mr John Kines spent the weekend in Dauphin visiting friends including Mrs Ad eames de ein mpites and Mr Win Brown whose horse was killed and Mr N B Adams injured in a recent electric storm. The WMS met at Mrs Hunt as Miss McGougan of Winnipeg visited, sharing experiences from New Zealand. The Tummel W1 Institute hosted Roblin and Cromarty institutes with singing, talks on saving a dollar, and a Maypole dance. Grandmothers Day is planned for the August meeting with an invitation to district grandmothers.
