Centenarian Mary Rathgeber Still Lives At Home At 110
Mary Rathgeber, born July 12, 1910, lives alone in Roblin after 74 years in MacNutt. She bakes, sews, and tends to a large quilt output, despite limited mobility and near blindness. She relies on home care for bathing and still eats six meals daily, saying sugar hasn’t hurt her. Her life included a dairy business with husband George and ongoing family ties in Edmonton, Regina, and Yorkton.
