Shell River moves to designate Tum bel Church heritage site
The RM of Shell River council moves to designate the Tum bel Church built in 1906 as a municipal heritage site after by laws are prepared and passed. The council also backs regional recycling efforts with Russell and a waste management study, and approves road signs and repairs along four municipal roads.

Big Bike Ride Comes to Roblin for Heart Foundation
A 30 rider Big Bike will tour Roblin on Tuesday July 27 1993 to raise pledges for the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba. Each team cycles five kilometers starting and ending at Roblin Arena with drivers supplied. Pledges fund life saving research and health programs while riders may earn shirts visors and chance at vacation prizes.
