Manitoba Grants Boost Community Places Program Funds
Manitoba communities will receive 7.5 million for the Community Places Program next year creating up to 1000 jobs. A total of 237 projects share 2.5 million in grants for roof work disability access doors and hall upgrades in Parkland and Dauphin areas. Project costs are cost shared up to 50 percent with groups covering the rest.

RTM Transport expansion receives REDI funding in Shoal Lake
The R M of Strathclair awards 69000 toward RTM Transport Ltd expansion as part of an 80173 REDI program. The facility will add up to five jobs and accommodate 25 to 30 owner operators with potential plans for a restaurant truck stop benefiting the community, said Rural Development Minister Len Derkach.

Grandview air show thrills crowd with aerial feats
