Tagged Walleye Catch Prompts Public Contact in Manitoba
During the Russell Lions Prairie Classic Walleye Tournament on Lake of the Prairies, nearly every fish was weighed and tagged by provincial biologists. About 1,100 of 1,166 weighed fish bore tags. one previously tagged fish was caught and released at Rickers Campground. If you catch a tagged fish, contact the Roblin District Office at 204-937-6452 with catch location, length, weight, and release status. Do not remove tags if releasing.
