Class of 45 nurses reunite for last gathering in Brandon
Luella Noble and Lorna Workman visited Brandon on June 13 for a reunion of two thirds of the surviving nurses from the 1945 class. Noble recalled shifting from teacher training to nursing after rejection and starting training at Brandon General Hospital on her 18th birthday in 1942.
