School roof repairs and energy upgrades planned
Roofs at Roblin Elementary and Grandview School will be repaired or replaced while gymnasiums in all division schools get energy efficient metal halide lights installed through Manitoba Hydro Powersmart. Indoor air quality work funds come from the environmental assistance grant and the school division’s capital reserve. Total project cost about 590000 with 290000 from the province and the rest from division surplus and capital.
