Cash Flow Extension for 94 95 Cropping Years
Dauphin Swan River MP Marlene Cowling lauds federal ag minister Ralph Goodale for extending the Cash Flow Enhancement Program to 94 95 and 95 96 crop years. The plan restores interest free on the first 50000 advanced under the Prairie Grains Advance Payment Act or the Advance Payments for Crops Act. Funds are reallocated from safety net programs to avoid new funding. Cowling stresses the value of cash advances for marketing crops under the Canadian Wheat Board and APCA crops.
