Vote Passes With Overwhelming Support For Group Plan
The group met during the council financial plan hearing and learned no action was taken on their concerns. Hammonds described a follow up meeting to decide next steps while RRA member Dale Rands noted discussions with Dauphin MLA Brad Michaleski. He criticized limited provincial mitigation and said municipalities must address the issue themselves. The RPA formed to voice concerns on tax collection, boost council communication, and represent the community.
