Mr and Mrs Kendrick spent Sunday at Hodkinson home. The Helping Hand completed knitting mitts for needy district children.
Mrs J H Sharp entertained many friends Friday evening. G P Baker returned home Thursday after a four week visit at Binsearth. Geo Ross Supt of Pool Elevators renewed acquaintances Friday. Rev H Hill was at Canora Sunday for the sagLean service. Skip R C Lowe and his rink competed for the King shield Monday evening. A Pool Elevator Committee dance Friday last drew a large crowd and was a great success. United Church service Sunday evening was well attended with Mrs J Pearl and Mrs H McConnell in charge. MLA R J M Parker attended Yorkton Tuesday for Mrs Chas A Bradbrooke funeral at Winnipeg General Hospital Sunday. We extend sincere sympathy on her death.

Girls Four Leaf Clover Club visits Miss Pelcher for an evening of games. After a bean supper, a sleigh ride home. Friday’s surprise party circuit continues with North South invitations and festive card play across the district.
Born at Winnipeg on January twentieth a daughter to Mr and Mrs Cockerill of Merridalé. Farmers hear Cockerill’s sawmill will resume work this winter. Mr and Mrs Bert Cockerill and Arthur returned from Winnipeg after a short visit. A school dance on January twenty second proved a social success with good attendance despite weather. Friends report Mr H Goldsack now manages a farm in England and may visit soon. The Community Club held its annual meeting January twenty fifth electing A J Macaulay as president and Mr Paman as secretary with a strong board to plan future events.
