The MacNutt Kings hockey team travelled to Langenburg on January 17 and 18 and won the A side. Also noted are funeral attendance in Melville for Helen Dietrich on January 17 and community events including a farmers bonspiel in Roblin January 17–19, a senior centre whist drive January 18, river fishing shacks in December, a Figure Skating Club bottle drive January 17, and two home games January 8 and 9 against Esterhazy and Churchbridge.
Emily Paul returns home after an extended hospital stay. Ruth Moore from Winnipeg visits her mother Betty Federiuk in hospital. Edna Jerome spends a week in Russell with family. Dennis Glushka from Edmonton stays overnight with his father. Rose Karey hosts a weekend gathering with all her children and spouses. Guests travel from Regina Dauphin Roblin and Cypress for supper. A Mennonite Church group sings and visits tenants Thursday evening. Ladies visit and lunch is served last Monday.
