Steam locomotive boiler plate found near Millwood
A distorted boiler plate from a steam locomotive that exploded after taking water near Millwood in March 1899 was found buried in a valley. Gordon Mundle and Jack Beamish retrieved a fragment, moved it to Gordon's farm, and in 1993 it reached the Keystone Pioneers Museum. A photocopied Winnipeg article documents the incident for exhibition.
