Journey for Light roars into Roblin with blind faith and hope
Roblin District Lions Club coordinator Dale Yeo invites support for the 2013 Journey for Light, a week long snowmobile trek from January 14 to 19 raising funds for the Eye Bank of Manitoba and Northwest Ontario. About 20 to 30 riders expected to arrive January 18 at Roblin Community Centre. Lions recall Helen Keller's 1925 challenge and highlight ongoing efforts to eradicate blindness.
