Double Wedding in Deepdale Marks Two Nuptials

A Pretty wedding at Mr and Mrs S T Argent Deepdale united their daughter Alice Vivian to Walter J Ward of Deepdale. The ceremony occurred Dec 18 1993 at seven with Rev D Cons of Roblin officiating. The bride wore Alpaca Crepe in dusky rosé and carried cream yellow Damask roses. Attendants included Mr and Mrs J S Ward. matron of honor wore powder blue. Wedding music by Mrs R Bore. The couple plan to reside in Deepdale after a buffet reception. A second ceremony at St Victor s church Dauphin on December 21 united Mew and Mr Robert Linton Deqdele Miew obea me tin ride of Jehny Haugh Boerne maid of honor. Attendants Mr and Mrs Henry Artibise of Dauphin. A wedding supper followed at Mr and Mrs Heart Dise home. The traveling outfit was a sheer chocolate brown dress with tan accessories. The couple will honeymoon briefly in Winnipeg before making their home in Deepdale.

Old Timer Celebrates Birthday in Roblin District

Mrs. M. Mickelson celebrated her 90th birthday with relatives and friends. Born in Ulveg Fjardimger Norway she crossed the Atlantic at fifteen in a five week voyage. She later lived in Wisconsin Iowa and settled in Roblin district about thirty seven years ago. Her family includes three daughters and three sons, twenty seven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. The Review joins in wishes for health and happiness.

Curlers urged to cooperate and pay fees for club

Curling members lament lack of cooperation and attendance as draws posted daily at Mitchell's store. Despite knowing schedule some could not attend, opponents have waited at the rink.
