Three Month Grace Period for New Safety Laws
Attorney General Roland Penner announced a three month grace period for the new traffic safety law requiring seatbelts child restraints and motorcyclists helmets with enforcement beginning April 1 1984 Public education will run during January to March police will not issue summons during the period and will hand out safety brochures.
