Collegiate girls canvassed Roblin on a house to house tag day and raised 52.60 for the St John Ambulance Association. The students named were Maryanne Cockerill Kathieeen Smith Judy Mae Pawlek Gary Evasiuk Lasha Pearson Patricia Larson Eva Styba Emily Evasiuk Helen Souter Maron Honeyman and Doreen Kerswell. Organized by Leslie Spear principal. The St John Ambulance order in Canada supports first aid education and free services in disasters and injuries. The Roblin mayor and committee thank the community and especially the girls for their time and support.

A March 3 drive was set under the new leadership with a blood donor and equipment loan service noted. Manitoba records show January home accidents 13 fatal including seven from falls and total provincial deaths 21.
