The Roblin Red Cross Society extends thanks for donations from Jewish Juveniles 49 dollars Mrs Williamson 10 dollars Mrs W Edwards 2 dollars and Mrs McNeill accushion plus all others who contributed. A total of 39 boys parcels were packed for the drive.
Union Church notes announce special quarterly collections for Methodist and Presbyterian funds and schemes at Tummel Cromarty and Roblin. Rev Thomas Bailey conducted the mid week service on Wednesday evening. Everyone is invited to a training class and devotional hour at 8. A Bible Society meeting will be held in the church on Thursday February 28 at 8 with Rev I B Taylor as speaker.
Roblin Red Cross Society hosts a masquerade ball tonight at Farrell in Roblin. The town notes Mr J W Law returned from Dauphin after a hospital stay. Home Economics demonstrations in wartime cookery are set for Friday February 22 at 3 p.m. in the church basement. A whist drive and parcel shower for “the boys in France” is planned by the Win the War Workers at the Oddfellows Hall on Friday March 1. Admission 50c.
