Mountain View School Division Nears Bigger Provincial Funds

MVSD may receive close to double last year’s funding after a 2.2 percent education budget rise. Secretary-treasurer Bart Michaleski says higher assessments boost equalization, predicting over five percent total increase and about 725000 more dollars in revenue. Public budget input is set for February 29.
