Roblin Red Cross Society Whist Drive and Fundraising
The Roblin Red Cross Society thanks Mr J Law for using his store for a Friday whist drive that raised $32. Prize winners include Mrs Greenaway for ladies, Miss McNulty for booby, D Baycroft for gent’s booby, and Mr D Law. The society seeks fruit cake, candy, and butter for boys parcels, forty parcels to be sent, with items left at Miss Gill’s store by Feb 16. A masquerade ball at Oddfellows Hall on Feb 16 to raise funds for parcels, admission $1 for men and 50c for ladies, with part proceeds for the Red Cross.
