Semi slips into ditch on PTH 5 near Roblin

Route crews from Roblin and Russell with local responders were called to the valley area about 9 Friday morning after a grain-hauling semi jackknifed and slid into the north ditch of PTH 5 heading west. The 40-year-old Grandview driver was taken to Roblin and then Winnipeg with non life threatening injuries. Police continue investigation. Warm conditions made highways slick.
