MVSD Attendance Below Provincial Average
MVSD reports an 89.2 percent attendance rate for 2014 15, below the 93.9 percent provincial average. CEO Donna Davidson cites the shift to electronic reporting and notes possible misclassification, with aims to reach province wide attendance. The district notes a weighted 85.4 percent attendance in Dauphin last year and an estimated mobility index of 14.0, higher than the province’s 6.0.
