Upgrades Leave Roblin Recreation Facilities in Flux
In Roblin Manitoba a year of upgrades affected recreation venues across 1992. A new baseball facility with two diamonds aims for 1993, a 400 metre track and a planned soccer field accompany pool renovations including a new 3M diving board. Arena improvements covered ice plant work, lighting, heating, exits and lobby refurbishments. The Rec Commission secured a $25 000 grant to upgrade the arena and explore converting the small arena into a revenue facility while promising ongoing maintenance and balanced books for 1993.
