A Taste of the Good Life Through a Culinary World Tour
Thuring, daughter of Charlie and Claire Berberat, left Goose Lake High in 2000 for Switzerland to train as a chef. She apprenticed at the Dolder Grand in Zurich, then worked in Croatia, Dubrovnik, Rovinj, and Zagreb, rising to a top restaurant role. A private yacht offered her global travel as a personal chef, with stints in the Mediterranean, London, and beyond before continuing at sea from Seattle to California and through the Panama Canal to Mexico and Bermuda.
