Towns Opt Out of AMM Legal Action Over Amalgamations
Town of Roblin and town of Hillsburg inform the Association of Manitoba Municipalities they do not support the AMM lawsuit challenging the provinces Municipal Amalgamations Act. The AMM filed suit on December 11 for its members after province letters dated October 30 confirming amalgamation. Shell River council delayed signing pending today’s meeting.
