Ladies' Aid holds annual meeting in Dauphin
The Ladies' Aid gathered at Mrs. Harvey Boyce’s home on Thursday December 6 with 20 members. President Mrs. I. R. Beattie opened the meeting and the group approved a yearbook report showing a cash balance of 292 dollars and fulfilled commitments.

Deepdale whist drive raises funds and takes a holiday break
Mr. and Mrs. Orton McCora uodale and Shelby traveled to Victoria by car last Saturday. The Deepdale W I held its fourth whist drive on December 8 at the Hendersons home with six tables and $6.50 in proceeds. Winners included Sadie’s first Mrs J Beerman Gent’s first Walter Ward Consolations Mrs E McIntyre and Herb Henderson. No more drives until after Christmas. Weekend visitors Mr and Mrs H Henderson and their children from Pilot Mound. Miss Ruff and local students plan the Community Christmas Tree Concert for December 21 at 8 00 p m with all invited.
