Lifeline Units Multiply as Help Centre Expands Reach
In Roblin the Lifeline program has more than doubled its units over the past year. Worbeck and others have purchased units as demand grows. Each unit costs about 700 dollars with 15 dollar monthly rent, all revenue supporting further units. Lifeline includes a one time hookup and a priority interface that seizes the line during emergencies. It currently serves the Roblin exchange with plans to cover San Clara. Lifelines are tested monthly and doctors back the program as a means to keep users independent and secure.
