Blizzard Tests Roblin Area as Snow Blocks Roads
Twenty years ago residents dug out after a heavy blizzard on Dec 4. Ken Addis recalls 1975 as the last time roads were blocked by snow with a drift a quarter mile long and six feet high near PTH 593 north of Neil Hrynkin's. Fire crews respond to a car fire two miles south of Roblin on Highway 83. Manitoba notes a Jan 22 visit by Lieutenant Governor Pearl McGonigal for clinic openings and other stops.
