Christmas Check Stop program runs through January 1 2012
The RCMP announced the annu holiday Check Stop program started Friday December 2 and continues to midnight January 1 2012. It targets high risk drivers including those who drive impaired, fail to wear seatbelts, speed, or fail to stop at intersections. The effort aims to keep Manitoba roads among the safest in Canada and ensure a safe holiday season. All detachments and Traffic Service Units participate.
