Manitoba Adds 18 New and 15 Used Snow Plows for Winter
Manitoba will add 18 new sander plow trucks and 15 one year old plows at a total near 7 million dollars to modernize the fleet. Transportation Minister Ron Lemieux says newer equipment improves reliability and daily plow service to keep roads safer. The 18 new units start arriving to replace aging trucks one to one while 15 used units from BC come with sander boxes and plows ready for use soon after delivery. Manitoba currently operates 249 snow plow trucks.
