Parkland Health Authority Plans MB Telehealth Network
The Parkland Regional Health Authority prepares to launch MB Telehealth linking sites across Manitoba for remote staff training and patient care. Dr. Ray Postuma says initial provincial services could start in November, with Dauphin already offering obstetrics pediatrics and other services enhanced by video consultations and education. The system will use the Provincial Data Network with IP based access and high end encryption to protect patient information.
