Clusters of pretty flowers invade Roblin areas
Residents report bright yellow snapdragon like flowers spreading on vacant lots and roadsides. The weed toadflax has expanded from nine locations to many gardens, challenging control efforts by town and rural councils. Cooperation is urged to identify and eradicate it, with soil sterilization months long chemical treatments. The Roblin Horticultural Society monitors the situation and requests samples from wild snapdragons to confirm toadflax. Hay supplies listing available at Agricultural Extension Office with location type quantity price.
