Display shows recycled products in Roblin depot
The Roblin recycling depot uses various recovered materials including cotton from T shirts, newspapers, tin cans, plastics and tires to produce insulation, flooring, paper products and more. Ramona Shiner notes growing volumes and monthly truck pickups as the community sorts recyclables well and saves trees and energy. The 1997 total recycled was 117 tonnes with 1998 progress at 76.88 tonnes.
