Roblin Theatre Matinees Flop Faces Financial Loss
Don Cross launched a Saturday matinee plan offering 50 cent tickets with a 400 participant target. Fewer than 100 families joined, despite door to door campaigns and ads. Cross expects limited future matinees at full price while acknowledging a $600 loss last year. 380 visitors recently joined Earl Ward home visits from Winnipeg and Minnedosa guests.
