Inglis elevator project hits halfway to 3M goal with block party
The Inglis Area Heritage Committee nears its 3 million fundraising target for prairie grain elevator restoration after a new government grant. A celebratory block party is planned for next Tuesday August 24 at 6 30 p m with music games face painting and food. The event also offers tours of the renovated northern Paterson elevator. The project has 1 515 322 in commitments from federal provincial and private sources with 2 million needed for restoration and an endowment of 1 million.

Marijuana crop seized near Dauphin province
RCMP uprooted over 300 cannabis plants growing in a wooded area about 40 kilometres south of Dauphin. The seizure is valued at $98,000 with at least one harvest already taken.
