Rev rector Nash leading morning service at 11 am at Christ Church with Sunday School at 10 am.
Deepdale Silverwood Makaroff invite to worship with United Methodist Church. Roblin Sunday services Sunday school 2 pm preaching 7 pm prayer meetings Wednesday evenings. Sunnyslope Friday evening preaching 7 30 pm Sunday School. Field preaching 11 am prayer meeting Thursday evening.
The Electors Roll for Roblin is deposited and available for public inspection. Complaints to add or remove names may be filed in writing. The Council will sit as Court of Revision at Roblin Municipal Hall on Wednesday August 28 1935 at 10 am. Signed John Hill Sec Treas Roblin.
The Village Council met Tuesday August 6 with Mayor Mitenell and councillors Kelso Hartmier Fisher Cranwell present. Motions approved last minutes and accounts totaling various municipal payments to Poitras Lunan Cherwinsky Western Municipal News Penas Mitchell Hardware and others. An extra $25 was awarded to J Hall for the 1935 assessment. The meeting adjourned.
A crop field day near Hoblin showcased a grain grading system sponsored by British American and Northern Elevator Companies with participation from the Dominion Board of Grain Commissioners and Dominion Department of Agriculture. Professors Harrison and J B Blajekan explained grain impurities and grading, as local elevator agents gathered grain from district farmers.

Hillsburg council met in the municipal office with Reeve Sorbo and councilors for a Chick Chase Schick and Coulthard. Minutes from the last meeting were adopted. Several authorizations followed including shipping a body to Shortdale, appointing an arbitrator, completing sale agreements, and paying multiple accounts. By law readings and bylaw transfers were authorized, and relief payments approved. The meeting adjourned.
Monday night radio enthusiasts witnessed Reuban Spinach, famed as the grand old man of the ab, headlining a musical program at the Lyric theatre. Local talent from the district supported the show under the auspices of the local giow, drawing a well filled audience and strong appreciation.
Mr C J Williams thanks many friends for sympathy kindness and floral tributes shown during his recent bereavement.
