Manitoba Recycle Everywhere hits new recycling milestone
Manitoba residents and Recycle Everywhere celebrate 71 percent recovery of empty beverage containers and 79 percent for PET bottles in 2020. Conservation minister Guillemard notes the goal of 75 percent is near while Ken Friesen of CBCRA emphasizes the circular economy and continued education. A new incentive program and a $25,000 semi annual prize encourage participation.
