The 66 participants included Saltcoats Patent Pending, Yorkton Spuds and Sprockets, Ebenezer/J Yorkton James Junkies, and McCreary Junkyard Journeymen. The event showcased small town Manitoba teamwork and won the 2003 Manitoba Tourism Innovation Award despite fewer entries this year.
