Highland Gathering invites Alberta and prairie leaders to Banff
The three lieutenant governors of the Prairie Provinces and Alberta's premier accept invitations to attend the Annual Highland Gathering and Scottish Festival at Banff from August 27 to 30 under Canadian Pacific Railway auspices. H.R.H. Prince Sukhodaya of Siam will open the event featuring an inter regimental piping contest among seventeen Highland Regiments, bagpipe displays, dancing, and Highland Games. The festival centers at Banff's Valley of the Bow with the Banff Springs Hotel as hospitality hub. The photo layout lists Alberta’s lieutenant governor, Prince Sukhodaya, and premiers and governors.
