Goose Lake Raffle Aims to Stock Trout After Proceeds
Roblin and District Wildlife Association held a Goose Lake raffle at the Fair to raise funds for stocking trout. Proceeds support stocking 5000 rainbow trout next spring. $1233.00 was donated for trout stocking this past May, with another 5000 rainbows stocked previously.

In January the University of Manitoba will offer a teleconference diploma course in farm business planning and farm law from 7 to 10 pm January through April. Roblin Fair a Success for Most Attendees
The Roblin Agricultural Society marked its 72nd annual fair with strong horse show entries and a well attended heavy horse pull drawing contestants from The Pas and North Dakota. Despite lower overall attendance and some complaints about displays and midway size, exhibitors and visitors praised quality exhibits, magicians, the Old Time Fiddlers Contest, and family contests.
