Board Reaches Settlement With CUPE After Bargaining Standoff
Intermountain Local CUPE and the Division Board ratified a one year contract ending the threat of a work stoppage. The deal includes a 3 percent raise across job categories, extended sick leave to 75 days, vacation pay integrated into monthly cheques, and full medical costs paid by the board except for Motor Vehicle Branch requirements. The agreement runs through December 31 1986 and adds new articles to existing ones.
