Physicians warn of euthanasia risk amid moral shift
Winnipeg physician Dr. Larry Rados, a Misericordia Hospital ER and ICU doctor and U of M professor, argued contraception and abortion have driven a global shift toward legalizing euthanasia. He cited Holland and Oregon where euthanasia or assisted death exists, warned of rising non consented cases, mobile teams, and questioned whether doctors would become executioners, endorsing palliative care instead.
