Roblin residents prepare for a town vote on an Electric Lighting and Power By-Law. A public meeting featured Mr G B Barsger of Winnipeg outlining benefits and costs, urging support for a self sustaining project to modernize Roblin and attract visitors.

A car load of oats is being loaded by district farmers. Construction material for a cottage on Mr Kings old farm is on the ground. The Soldier Settlement Board hopes to establish a settler and family from Scotland by mid May. A storm disrupted a church supper program but a good crowd attended with local ladies hosting and a brief program by named local artists followed by the National Anthem.
The Manitoba Temperance Act notice lists J L Mitchell as applying for a Druggist Retail License for Lot 4 Blk t Stoblin Manitoba. Ten or more nearby ratepayers may object within three weeks after the last publication by filing grounds with the Attorney General and serving or posting notice at the premises.
Grand Narrows reopened on a Tuesday in April with Miss Orth of Winnipeg as teacher and Mr FB Howell of Dauphin visiting. The Boys and Girls Club event at UFM Hall on April 9 featured a short play songs and recitations and ended with dancing to about 3 am. Ticket sales at the door brought in 26.50 and attendees appeared to enjoy the evening.
Local notes record Gordon Fitzgerald Merridale and Miss M Wright Roblin visiting friends here last week. Bus Saunders Deepdale made a woods trip while Teddy Saunders and Chas Cockerill kept their engines running. Forest rangers McNeil and Halverson photographed Leslie Rolston as a bushman during timber tenure surveying. Save the Forest Week runs April 8 to 14 with appeals to farmers to aid forest fire prevention.

Village notice requires all dog licenses be paid to John Hill secretary treasurer or to Fred Rutledge by April 24 1926. After that date any untitled dogs will be impounded. Roblin officials name John Hill and Fred Rutledge as contact points.
