Province Sees Low Lake Levels and Flood Outlook Across Regions
The spring flooding outlook notes Shellmouth reservoir at target level while westward travel shows the exposed lakebed. Unusually high runoff is anticipated along the Saskatchewan Manitoba border from The Pas to Roblin and in the upper Assiniboine watershed. Adverse weather could flood valley lands from Shellmouth to Brandon with levels 0.2 to 0.8 m higher than 1976 and 1995.
