Five MPs seek funding to tour legal brothels abroad
The Pivot Legal Society condemns a plan by five Canadian MPs on a federal justice subcommittee to spend 200000 on a fact finding tour to England Holland Sweden and Reno to visit houses of ill repute. The group would meet police, brothel owners and sex workers as part of their review of prostitution laws. The society argues for decriminalization and safer work conditions.
