The first female Roblin recreation director, Boguski, cites strong contacts across agencies and a clear vision to boost recreation and tourism. She aims to align with the local recreation commission, raise community involvement, and position Roblin to host provincial events.

RCMP report a March 17 break in at the Nifty Nook on Main Street Melita where about $17,000 in jewelry was stolen. Thieves disabled the store alarm and gained entry by prying open the front door.
