Ex-Royal Canadian Mounted Police Member Deported After Slayings
Joseph W. Pitt formerly with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police was sentenced in 1990 to ten years at Stony Mountain for manslaughter. He was released in January and deported to England, after fatally shooting Sophie Light during a celebration opening the Roblin highway.
