Water works show high consumption and gas reuse plans
The works consume about 6,000,000 gallons daily. Gases are scrubbed in a dust catcher then purified in water chambers and a 100 foot high washer. Purified gas heats boilers and blast chambers. An East extension and pipe mills are planned to boost output.
