Races at Miles Park featured tight finishes and betting odds
Finbar led early in the Bong Bong Handicap but faced a late challenge from Ghezerich as Cromspatch narrowly won by a neck. Mylora defeated Daayah by a short neck in the Mile. Chivalry beat Kenilim and Anvil by two lengths in the Bachelor's Bay event. Prudent Sands surprised in the Throsby Plate, edging Ostentation and Kohinoor. Finbar won the final by a half length over Sunwise with Bright Sea third as Triconia faded.
