Pretty wedding unites Netlie Brown to Walter Ashfield
The home of Mr. and Mrs. A. Brown in Wheatland hosted a wedding on Wednesday 17th at three o’clock. Netlie Margaret Brown married Walter Ashfield of Brandon Kes with Rivers officiating. The bride wore white silk with Juliet veil and was given in marriage by her father. A reception for about fifty followed with gifts including gold watch and cuff links. The couple will reside at 1119 Ninth Street Brandon.

Rivers Red Cross Society Organizes In Town Hall
Five years ago a public meeting in the town hall led by Mayor Jonason founded the Rivers branch of the Red Cross Society with F W Buggey as chairman. The town’s Red Cross Auxiliary organized with Mrs F Machan as president. Four carloads of Riv ers Rebekahs visited Rapid City, and Dodson’s threshing crew harvested 1700 bushels of wheat on Thursday.
