ie Fown and Or Charles Stevenson of Winnipeg visited relatives in town during the past week. Eva McEwing of Rapid City is a student at St. Michael's Academy in Brandon. Cpl M and Mrs Fuller have returned from a month’s holiday on the Pacific coast. Mr and Mrs Robert Bradt of Flin Flon arrived Friday on their honeymoon. Lewis Dyer left last week for Vancouver to enter the University of British Columbia. Mrs W Milne and daughter Wilma of Brandon are guests of her parents Mr and Mrs C Musgrove. Mr and Mrs J T Bowman Mr and Mrs M E Bowman Robert and Basil were Winnipeg visitors this week. Mr and Mrs J Hain and Emil spent a few days at Sundown for a wedding. Winnipeg, with Marion Karlenzig, visited Mr and Mrs Fred Karlenzig. Alex W Whyte returned from a holiday trip to Kelowna B C and stayed with Mr and Mrs J J Thomson, formerly of Bradwardine.

Compulsory Saving Refunds Reported for Taxpayers
Government sources said work has begun on 1.5 million refunds of the 1842 compulsory savings program. The payments, totaling about 66.00 million, will go to taxpayers next spring and be non taxable.
